TENNIS CENTER of the ROCKIES - Colorado

WELCOME

We are all very proud of the rich history of the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center, one of Colorado’s premier tennis clubs, in Boulder. Sadly, the RMTC has now been closed due to City of Boulder planning and development decisions.

We are, however, determined to find a new home in the area to keep pursuing our mission of bringing “Tennis for Everyone!” We are currently approved for funding to build an 8-court tennis facility with 4 courts bubbled seasonally and 4 outdoor courts with lights!

Modeled after RMTC, this will be a membership-based club that is also open to the public with big perks for local community residents. Whether you’ve never picked up a racquet or can’t put one down, we are working hard to continue to offer world-class tennis development and training and a wonderful tennis community environment in the heart of Colorado.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

The HPTP at RMTC is about so much more than tennis. Not only does the program groom high performance athletes -- the entire teaching framework is built upon understanding whole child development, building healthy relationships with caring and supportive adults, and helping to foster discipline, understanding of mind-body connection, and both on -court/off-court decision-making. We're so grateful to have the HPTP team in our child's life.

RMTC is the perfect combination of goal-driven athletic improvement, hard work, and community. Age ranges of participants and positive role modeling by the coaches provide ample opportunities for growth and leadership. Coaches focus on strategy, conditioning, positive encouragement, and whole-body health to help players achieve superior results. The improvement in my son’s tennis game was dramatic, impacting his self-confidence and academic success.

Rocky Mountain Tennis Center has a group of dedicated, world class professionals that has truly brought out the best in my teenage son. In just three years they took him from having never picked up a racket to being a top player in the state and sectional level. Not only is the instruction phenomenal, the coaches and staff are like family.

RMTC is more than a tennis club. It’s a tennis community, in the spirit of Boulder. Friendly and knowledgable management and coaches have successfully created a member-focused environment. I am delighted and fortunate to be part of this RMTC community.

WHEELCHAIR TENNIS at RMTC & TCR

We are proud that RMTC was the main site for Wheelchair Tennis in Colorado. In just 6 years, Coach Kendall worked with USTA National/Intermountain/&Colorado, as well as the CWTF & CJWCSC to introduce tennis to hundreds of children with disabilities, host bi-weekly complimentary All Comers clinics and yearly national camps, launch 5 collegiate wheelchair tennis players to different colleges across the country, and develop the current US Open Girls Wheelchair Singles and Doubles Champ, Sabina Czauz! (We’ve also helped to launch the pro careers of Sabina Czauz and Tomas Majetic.)

We can’t wait to get this amazing program going again at the new home for Tennis Center of the Rockies – Colorado!
