Tennis Memories

Learning proper serve grip at 45

First, thanks to everyone at RMTC for all their hard work, with a big shout out to Coco and Doris – you guys are the best and I love your class!

Next is a little throw back story to the days when Stacy was coaching in the bubble. I am forever grateful to her for her response to my question of:

“Do I really need to start using the Continental grip when I serve? I’ve gone 45 years serving without that grip and to change it feels terribly awkward.”

Stacy didn’t hesitate a second, and replied “Absolutely!”. I am so appreciative for her steadfast response – it gave me the confidence I needed to make the grip change, even if I was late in doing so. I often think of that interaction and it gives me inspiration to keep working on it, no matter what age I’ll be when I finally get it. Thank you, Stacy!

This program is by invitation from the coach only.
